If you want to make an upfront offer in advance of the auction, you will have the opportunity to do so. On each equipment listing you will see the price clearly displayed. You must be registered with us and have payment information on file in order to participate. Simply click here to begin the registration process. On each equipment listing you’ll see the price clearly displayed. Updates will appear in your customer portal, which will be created after you’ve registered with us.


PURCHASING AT AUCTION

If time is not of the essence, our auctions may be the solution you are looking for. This option provides a number advantage over other alternatives. By taking this route, you will find you are able to make the most of your equipment budget and can often purchase the pieces you need.


HOW TO BUY AT AUCTIONS

Registration is free, simply fill out the registration form provided on our website, then check out our selection of used trucks, construction, and agriculture equipment. Click here to get started with the registration process.


AUCTION DATES

You will find auction dates posted on our homepage. Click on the auction date you are interested in to view inventory. Further details and extended descriptions are found when clicking on an individual piece of equipment.


  • Click “Make Offer” and submit the amount you’re able to pay.
  • If your offer is too far below fair market value, the system will automatically decline it, and you’ll be able to either walk away or submit a higher offer.
  • Your offer may show as pending and a sales representative will contact you.
  • If your offer is within acceptable market value, you’ll be asked to either confirm or cancel it.
  • Once you confirm the offer, it will be approved or declined.
  • A Permian International Auctions representative will call you to discuss the steps to follow and final pricing once sales tax (if applicable), buyer’s fees and other elected services are added to the price of the lot.


VIEW INVENTORY

PRE-BID: If you can’t be at your computer during the live auction, you don’t have to worry about missing out. You can place a bid on an item up to seven days before the auction goes live and remain updated via the buying section of your customer portal. If your bid wins, you’ll be notified and the invoice will be sent to your portal.  In the event you’re outbid, you’ll be updated and able to submit a higher bid. This progress will be sent to your portal as well.


MAXIMUM BID: With this option, you’ll input your maximum bid amount. Our system will then keep you in the running until your preset max bid has been exceeded.


INSTANT BiDDING: If another potential purchaser outbids your offer, you’ll receive a notification and be able to submit a bid at the next dollar increment. This will go on until you either win the lot, or drop out of the bidding.


Though we have predetermined auction times in place, we offer soft closing time. Under this prerequisite, if a bid is placed with under one-minute left in the auction, additional time will be added to the clock.

HOW THE LIVE AUCTION PROCESS WORKS

Our live online construction, transportation, oilfield, and agriculture equipment auctions work in much the same way as they would if you were at the auction site in person. Once an auction goes live, we will allow bidding for each item.


You will be able to keep an eye on the lot you want to purchase and see other bids as they come in. Bids placed in advance of the auction will automatically be placed in by our system in the bid increments stated on the lot. You can continue to raise your offer on each item in response to other bidders until the auction closes.


AFTER THE AUCTION

Payment is required within three days of the close of the auction at which they are purchased. From there, you will have seven days after the auction to pick up your items. We have specific load out instructions conveniently located under each equipment listing.


ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATION

Please also make sure anyone picking up your purchases brings the necessary documentation. The item release ticket is required. Without the ticket, you will not be allowed to remove your equipment from the lot. If you need a hand while picking up your purchase, we always have load out support available.
